1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the greenhalo website and mobile application, together referred to as the Platform.

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Platform, you confirm that you are at least eighteen years of age, have read and understood these Terms and Conditions, and agree to be legally bound by them.

If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, you must not access or use the Platform.

2. Relationship to Privacy Policy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by the greenhalo Privacy Policy, which explains how personal information is collected, used, stored, and protected.

By using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy and consent to the handling of personal information in accordance with it.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least eighteen years old to use the Platform.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account and to keep that information up to date.

You are responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must notify us promptly if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account or any security incident affecting your account.

We may suspend or terminate your account where we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms and Conditions, provided false information, or created a safety, trust, or integrity risk to the community.

4. Nature of the Platform

greenhalo is not a dating service, matchmaking service, or relationship guarantee platform.

The Platform provides tools, prompts, insights, and optional features intended to support personal awareness and reflection, safer and more intentional interactions, and trust, authenticity, and connection.

greenhalo does not arrange, organise, or facilitate dates, does not guarantee compatibility, behaviour, or outcomes, and does not monitor or supervise interactions between users.

Any verification, trust, or safety features available through the Platform operate only as described within the Platform and do not guarantee identity, intent, safety, or conduct.

All interactions and decisions remain the responsibility of users.

5. User Conduct and Community Standards

You agree to use the Platform lawfully, respectfully, and in good faith.

You must not:

• harass, abuse, threaten, stalk, or harm any person

• discriminate against, demean, or target others based on protected characteristics or personal attributes

• provide false, misleading, or impersonated information, including misrepresenting your identity, age, or intentions

• upload, share, request, or distribute unlawful, explicit, abusive, or exploitative content

• use the Platform to solicit money, gifts, financial information, or to facilitate scams or fraud

• misuse safety, trust, or verification features

• interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to access systems or data without authorisation

• scrape, harvest, or collect information by automated means without permission

• use the Platform for unsolicited commercial activity without prior written permission

 

We may moderate content and take action, including suspension or termination, where conduct undermines safety, trust, or community integrity, or where required by law.

6. User Content

User Content means any text, images, audio, video, messages, profile information, or other material you submit through the Platform.

You retain ownership of your User Content, subject to the licence granted below.

By submitting User Content, you grant greenhalo global Pty Ltd a non exclusive, royalty free, worldwide licence to host, store, display, process, transmit, and otherwise use your User Content solely to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Platform.

You warrant that you have all rights and consents necessary to submit your User Content.

We do not endorse User Content and are not responsible for its accuracy or impact.

7. WingMate and Trusted Contact Features

WingMate is an optional feature that allows a user to nominate a trusted contact for awareness and reassurance purposes.

By using WingMate, you acknowledge and agree that:

• participation is voluntary and consent based

• you are responsible for obtaining consent before providing another person’s contact details

• invited individuals must actively opt in before participating

• WingMate is not an emergency service or monitoring service

• greenhalo does not guarantee response times or outcomes

 

WingMate does not replace personal judgment or emergency services.

8. Safety Disclaimer

While greenhalo aims to support safer interactions, you acknowledge that online and offline interactions involve inherent risks.

greenhalo cannot control or predict user behaviour and does not supervise real world interactions.

You are responsible for your own safety and decisions.

If you are in danger, contact local emergency services.

9. Non Clinical and Wellbeing Disclaimer

greenhalo does not provide medical, mental health, psychological, psychiatric, therapeutic, counselling, or crisis support services.

The Platform is not intended to diagnose, treat, manage, monitor, or prevent any mental health condition or medical issue.

All prompts, insights, or content are general in nature and not professional advice.

Seek professional help if required.

9.1 External Support Resources

The Platform may include information about external support services for convenience only.

This information does not create a duty of care, referral obligation, or responsibility.

greenhalo does not monitor users for distress.

​

10. Automated Systems

The Platform may use automated systems to support moderation, safety, fraud prevention, recommendations, and service improvement with appropriate human oversight.

​

11. Subscriptions and Payments

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through the relevant app store.

Deleting the application does not cancel a subscription.

12. Intellectual Property and Licence

All Platform intellectual property is owned by or licensed to greenhalo global Pty Ltd.

You are granted a limited, personal, non transferable, non commercial licence to use the Platform.

• copy or modify the Platform

• reverse engineer or extract source code

• use intellectual property without permission

 

12.1 Apple App Store Acknowledgement

If you downloaded the Platform from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge and agree that these Terms and Conditions are concluded between you and greenhalo global Pty Ltd only, and not with Apple Inc.

Apple has no responsibility for the Platform or its content and no obligation to provide maintenance or support services.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no warranty obligation and is not responsible for addressing claims relating to the Platform, including intellectual property claims.

13. Suspension and Termination

You may delete your account at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access where these Terms are breached or required by law.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Platform is provided on an as is basis.

greenhalo is not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Liability is limited to amounts paid in the twelve months preceding the claim, or zero if none.

15. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify greenhalo against claims arising from your breach, content, or conduct.

 

16. Dispute Resolution

The parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes in good faith before commencing proceedings.

 

17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

 

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
