A: greenhalo is a connection companion designed to support safer, more authentic, and more mindful dating and relationships. It works alongside dating apps and real world connections and does not match people or arrange dates.

A: No. greenhalo is not a dating or matchmaking app. It does not suggest matches, promote browsing, or guarantee compatibility. Connections are created intentionally between people who have already met elsewhere.

Q: Who can use greenhalo?
A: greenhalo is available to adults aged eighteen years and over. The platform is designed for people who want to approach dating and relationships with more intention, safety, and self awareness.

Q: How do Connections work?
A: Connections are private, peer to peer spaces created using a unique identifier. Both people must opt in. Within a Connection, you can chat, share insights, set up a date plan, and enable safety features.

Q: Do I need to share my phone number or social accounts to connect?
A: No. Connections are created using a unique identifier. Personal contact details are not required to connect
with another user.

Q: What is WingMate?
A: WingMate allows you to nominate a trusted contact who is aware of your date plan and can be notified if you do not check in after a date or meetup. WingMate is optional and not an emergency service.

Q: What is OffScript?
A: OffScript is a feature that supports real time authenticity through short, time limited photo prompts. It is designed to reduce staging and encourage genuine presence.

Q: What is Footprint?
A: Footprint helps provide context about where you show up online by verifying which social or dating platforms you are active on through a one time verification process. It does not store credentials or provide ongoing access.

Q: What is Exclusify?
A: Exclusify is a mutual feature for when two people decide to focus on each other and step away from dating apps. It only exists when both people opt in and is about clarity, not status.

Q: Is greenhalo monitoring my dates or conversations?
A: No. greenhalo does not monitor real world interactions and does not supervise or guarantee behaviour. Safety features are optional tools that support awareness and informed decision making.

Q: Is greenhalo therapy or counselling?
A: No. greenhalo does not provide medical, mental health, counselling, or crisis services. Content and prompts are general and not professional advice.

Q: How does moderation work?
A: greenhalo uses a combination of automated systems and human review to moderate content in line with the Community Guidelines, Terms and Conditions, and applicable law.

Q: How do I report something that feels wrong?
A: You can report content or behaviour directly through the app. Reports are reviewed and action may be taken depending on severity and context.

Q: Does greenhalo sell my data?
A: No. greenhalo does not sell, rent, or trade personal information. Data is used only to operate and improve the platform in line with the Privacy Policy.

Q: How do I delete my account?
A: You can delete your account in app through account settings or by contacting privacy@greenhalo.app from your registered email address.

Q: What happens when I delete my account?
A: Your profile information, content, and Connections are removed. Some limited information may be retained where required by law.

Q: How do subscriptions work?
A: Some features are available through auto renewing subscriptions processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Subscription terms are shown before purchase.

Q: How do I cancel a subscription?
A: Subscriptions must be cancelled through the platform where you subscribed. Deleting the app does not cancel an active subscription.
